Before you go
When is the best time to climb Kilimanjaro?
The best windows are January-March and June-October, when the weather is clearest and summit conditions most favourable. We operate year-round.
Do I need climbing experience?
No technical experience is needed. Kilimanjaro is a trek. Good general fitness and choosing a longer route (7-8 days) for acclimatisation make the biggest difference to your success.
Which Kilimanjaro route should I choose?
For most climbers we recommend the 8 Days Lemosho or 7 Days Machame for scenery and success rate. Marangu offers hut accommodation, Rongai is drier and quieter, and Umbwe suits experienced trekkers.
What is included in the price?
Park and camping fees, certified guides and porters, all meals on the mountain, camping equipment and airport transfers. Safaris include park fees, a private 4x4 with driver-guide and accommodation as listed.
Can I combine Kilimanjaro with a safari or Zanzibar?
